Estimate Reports

Estimates returned from Xactimate typically have the following attached reports in the Documents tab.

More reports may appear in the Documents tab for a variety of reasons, including if your company has unique report preferences, if third-party reports are ordered, or if documents are uploaded manually.

Audit Summary Report

Audit rules are triggered when errors are made in an estimate. For example, an audit rule could be triggered if the floor covering total in an estimate exceeds the area of the floor. The Audit Summary Report shows which rules were triggered and any adjustments made to the estimate as a result.

Estimate Audit Report

This report shows the estimate activity by owner. An owner is an Xactimate user assigned to the estimate at any point during the estimating process. An estimate has only one owner at a time.

Final Draft with/without Removal Depreciation Report

This report shows line item data, including description, quantity, unit, price, tax, overhead and profit (O&P), replacement cost value (RCV), depreciation (DEPREC.), and actual cash value (ACV) for each item. The data is separated by level and room of the property.

Report Rough Draft

This report shows line item data, including category (CAT), selector (SEL), quantity (QTY), action (ACT), description, removal cost (REMOVE), replacement cost (REPLACE), tax, overhead and profit (O&P), and total. The data is separated by level and room of the property. For information about these line item elements and how they are added in Xactimate, see Estimate items.

Variation Report

The Variation Report compares checkpoint prices with actual line item prices in the estimate and shows the deviation between the two. A checkpoint price list provides a frame of reference for line item prices. Line item prices in the completed estimate can vary from checkpoint prices due to unit price differences in material, supplies, equipment, retail labor, or market conditions.
