Custom Groups

The Custom Groups module allows you to create groups of contractors or adjusters for reporting purposes and for payment queue rules (if your company uses the payment queue). These groups can only be comprised of contractors/adjusters that use Xactimate.

Data set

Companies use data sets to separate their assignments into groups (departments or specializations). In many areas of XactAnalysis, companies can filter, search, and report on assignments by data set. Also, data sets can be shared between a carrier and Independent Adjusting or Contractor companies to allow for a shared workflow through XactAnalysis.

Desk adjuster

Desk adjusters are individuals who are assigned to assignments and track their progress from beginning to end. They make sure estimates are returned to XactAnalysis by adjusters/contractors, reported information is correct, a reviewer is assigned, and the payment is submitted upon approval. You can assign desk adjusters to assignments in XactAnalysis.

Disqualified

Escalation

An alert or notification, which occurs when a particular amount of time (specified by you) is exceeded between two events (for example, the service provider receiving an assignment, and the service provider returning the assignment). These notifications can be set up in Program Rules - Assignment Escalation, or Personal Rules - Elapsed Time Rules.

Estimate

A completed document (returned from Xactimate to XactAnalysis) that appraises the value of a property insurance claim. An estimate is a detailed analysis of the claim, and a breakdown of the cost to settle the claim created by the assignee with the Xactimate product. An assignment becomes an estimate when it is uploaded from Xactimate back to XactAnalysis.

Estimate collaboration

Estimate Collaboration allows a claim rep/adjuster who is not the assignee to perform work on a returned estimate without changing the ownership (assignee). When an estimate has been checked out for collaboration, only the collaborator may do work on the estimate.

Estimate Review Queue

A filter in Search that shows all designated assignments that are returned from your adjusters for a desk review. The administrator assigns specific estimates to individual reviewers for approval.
